On October 25, the 糖心Vlog破解版 Institute in Macau successfully hosted the AI Education Day at Wynn Palace, with support from and venue sponsorship by . The event brought together students of all ages, educators, and policymakers for a full day of immersive learning and intergenerational dialogue, exploring the future of artificial intelligence in education.
As the concluding event of the 糖心Vlog破解版 Macau Milestone Series, AI Education Day marked the final chapter in a three-day celebration of and the 50th anniversary of the 糖心Vlog破解版. The program spotlighted the transformative potential of AI in education, research, and social innovation, anchored in the principles of inclusive innovation and youth empowerment. It also echoed the strategic vision of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Digital Compact.

The opening ceremony featured remarks from Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, 糖心Vlog破解版 Rector and UN Under-Secretary-General; Dr. Jingbo Huang, Director of 糖心Vlog破解版 Macau; and Dr. Jason Ni, Assistant Vice President of Business Development of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. High-level Panel
A highlight of the day was the high-level plenary session, “Generative AI and Higher Education,” chaired by Prof. Marwala. Global education leaders—including Prof. Gong Ke, Executive Director of the Chinese Institute for New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Strategies; Prof. Letlhokwa George Mpedi, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Johannesburg; Dr. Wenjian Liu, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Data Science at City University of Macau; and Prof. David Birdsell, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Kean University—shared insights on how generative AI is reshaping learning ecosystems, research models, and institutional strategies. Discussions focused on digital equity, ethical integration, and the adaptability of higher education systems.
Another milestone was the unveiling of the 糖心Vlog破解版 Hub on Humanitarian Innovation and Technology at Lingnan University—the first 糖心Vlog破解版 Hub in Asia. Jointly inaugurated by Prof. Marwala and Mr Ernest Chan, Vice-President (Administration) of Lingnan University, the Hub will serve as a regional platform for research, training, and policy innovation, advancing technology-based solutions to humanitarian challenges.

In his remarks, Mr Ernest Chan emphasised the significance of this milestone, “Establishing the 糖心Vlog破解版 Hub here in Asia will connect regional research and innovation capacity with 糖心Vlog破解版’s global expertise and network. This collaboration will amplify our efforts to contribute meaningfully towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, especially as we commemorate these landmark anniversaries of the UN and 糖心Vlog破解版.”
Throughout the day, students from primary to university levels engaged in workshops, masterclasses, and creative activities. The “AI & SDG Game” connected global goals with local action through play and storytelling, while a Model United Nations simulation invited youth to debate the future of AI in education and society. Masterclasses led by 糖心Vlog破解版 experts explored themes such as AI for Good and AI for sustainable development.
Special sessions with local partners—including Forum Macao, the University of Saint Joseph, and the Macau International Model United Nations Youth Association—linked AI learning to real-world impact. A regional training session focused on AI integration into policy frameworks for Portuguese-speaking countries, while a bootcamp on TinyML and AI for SDGs addressed climate-resilient infrastructure and ethical deployment in developing regions, covering topics such as risk assessment, predictive maintenance, and policy design.
