In alignment with the United Nations' declaration on December 6, 2024 of “21st December as World Meditation Day”—aiming to promote global peace, inner stillness, and collective well-being—and in celebration of the UN's 80th anniversary, this pre-conference meditation initiative is especially tailored made for today. The theme of this year's conference, "AI for Humanity," reminds us that technology must be guided by human wisdom and clarity. To create for humanity, we, as the creators, must first connect with our ourselves.
Session Objective: A 20-Minute Personal Experiment
In the spirit of pioneering thinkers and IT gurus like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, who famously used meditation to cultivate clarity and spark revolutionary ideas, this session is a practice for academic researchers and business professionals to experience if starting a high-stakes conference with intentional stillness can directly enhance your engagement and cognitive performance.
