DESCRIPTION
The applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in Macau are extensive, spanning both academic and industrial sectors. The SAR government has actively supported numerous AI research initiatives, including significant advancements in autonomous driving and the establishment of an AI laboratory focused on respiratory disease and epidemic intelligence. Additionally, the government introduced the Key Technological Enterprise Scheme to drive technological innovation, encouraging local tech companies to integrate AI into various business scenarios. This panel highlights some of the pioneering local applications of AI.
