The project explores how transdisciplinary integration of knowledge within a Nexus perspective support sustainable transformations in regional water management, with a focus on the Global South, particularly Ethiopia. It addresses the fragmentation of knowledge systems-scientific, local, and indigenous and the inadequate linkages among stakeholders and institutions that hinder adaptive and inclusive water management. By identifying key knowledge gaps and mapping stakeholder networks, the study seeks to understand how collaborative, co-produced knowledge can improve decision-making and implementation within a resource Nexus perspective. The research promotes inclusive, integrated approaches that reflect the complex interconnections between key and derived resource, and ultimately aiming to inform policy, practice, and sustainability outcomes at both local and regional levels.
