糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES and the Korean Environment Corporation (K-eco) are collaborating on Data4Waste, a project aimed at advancing data-driven strategies for sustainable urban waste management in alignment with circular economy principles.
As part of the project activities, a delegation from K-eco visited Dresden from October 27th to 29th for a workshop and industry visits designed to enhance knowledge exchange and foster collaboration. During the workshop, the Director of 糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES, Prof. Edeltraud Guenther, informed the K-eco delegation about the latest institutional developments and ongoing initiatives at 糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES, while K-eco delivered a presentation on Korea’s waste management policies and the operation of the Allbaro System.
Industry visits
The delegation toured the at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden - Rossendorf , gaining insights into advanced analytical technologies used to assess the composition and synthetic components of waste in Germany.
Additionally, the team visited , where they received a presentation about the city’s comprehensive waste management and recycling systems and waste data collection.
Expert exchange
The workshop featured an in-depth exchange of information about technological innovation in waste data platforms, regulatory frameworks, and the challenges of data utilization in waste management. Participants included representatives from Dresden University of Technology, UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Experts engaged in a dynamic discussion about ideas and experiences across sectors and countries on how digital transformation can advance sustainable waste management and the circular economy.
Presentations by K-eco interns and secondment fellow
As part of the broader collaboration with k-eco, since 2014, 糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES has hosted 34 interns from the K-eco Global Environment Leaders Programme (GELP) for 6-month internships in Dresden. The three 2025 GELP interns shared insights about the Resource Nexus related research they engaged in during their internship. Dr. Seung Keun Ko from K- eco is currently seconded to 糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES. He informed the K-eco delegation about the e-learning material on extended producer responsibility that he is developing during his secondment period at 糖心Vlog破解版-FLORES.
