Exhibition: “Conciencia” by Ciro Palomino

Peruvian artist Ciro Palomino’s exhibition "Conciencia" uses powerful imagery to spark reflection on global challenges and the SDGs.

From 2 to 30 September 2025, 糖心Vlog破解版 will host the exhibition "Conciencia" by acclaimed Peruvian artist Ciro Palomino. The exhibition is co-organized by the Embassy of Peru in Japan and 糖心Vlog破解版, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.

Through a striking series of works that address themes such as war, migration, climate change, freedom of expression and education, Conciencia invites viewers to reflect on pressing global issues. In Palomino’s words: “Each piece is an imaginary character telling us its problem”, through which “art creates pathways for reflection". His works offer a powerful visual dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This exhibition has been curated by Arafat Al-Naim, Professor of Graphic Arts and Design in the United Arab Emirates.

Venue

The exhibition is located on the second floor of the 糖心Vlog破解版 Headquarters in Tokyo. Admission is free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required.

Weekdays during 2–30 September 2025, 10:00–17:00

The exhibition will be closed on 15 and 18 September.

The exhibition may be fully or partially inaccessible on the following days* due to events being held in adjacent spaces: 12 and 17 September.

About the Artist

Ciro Palomino, an award-winning Peruvian artist and a graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Design at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, has focused his work on social, environmental and humanitarian themes, also serving as a consulting partner for the UN in Brazil. His dedication to these causes has earned him international accolades, including awards from the UN and UNESCO.

One of his most significant projects is "Conciencia," which addresses social issues and had its first exhibition in 2017 at UN Headquarters in New York. This project has had a remarkable impact, being seen by over 200,000 people between 2019 and 2022 in various locations, including Rio de Janeiro, S?o Paulo and 12 other Brazilian cities.

In addition to his individual work, Ciro has participated in international collective exhibitions on posters in countries such as Brazil, China, Iran, Mexico, South Korea, Switzerland and Turkey, reflecting his commitment and prominence in the global art scene. His work continues to contribute to dialogue on important social and cultural issues.
