Next Course: “Innovative biotechnological approaches for biofilm control and characterization”, October 2025

The course provides intensive training comprising 20 theoretical and 30 practical hours on microbial biofilms, emphasising their formation, resistance, and relevance in health. It covers using advanced microscopy tools (confocal, light sheet, expansion) and nanoparticle-based control strategies. The course is intended for graduate students in microbiology, biotechnology, or related fields who seek to acquire applied skills in research, image analysis, and the development of antimicrobial approaches.

 

The activity aims to provide state-of-the-art formation in biofilm research, tools for evaluation, and strategies for prevention and eradication.    

 

Application procedure

Interested candidates will be required to submit a motivation letter, a recommendation letter and an updated CV.
